Mountain Biking
A number of all-level evocative natural biking paths unfold in the Garda Trentino area: Arco is the ultimate starting-point to enjoy every last one of them. A full immersion in nature, with breath-taking landscapes all around.
Climbing
The mountains surrounding Arco are the dreamland for any climber. Their excellent exposure and location amidst olive trees make their numerous cliffs the best place to practice this sport. The world-renowned climbing walls host national and international competitions every year.
Trekking / Nordic Walking
A wide net of multi-level trails extends over 100 km from the lake to mountain peaks, securing, as such, a wide range of options to Nordic walking and trekking lovers. In the winter season, a number of snowshoe trails are also within easy reach from Arco town center.
Windsurf / Sailing
The regular winds blowing on Garda Trentino area attract skippers and surfers from all over the world. The two main winds — “Peler” blowing in the morning and “Ora” in the afternoon — offer ideal conditions for unforgettable sailing outings.
Vie Ferrate
With more than ten vie ferrate in the range of just a few kilometres, Arco is the ideal departure point from which climbers can enjoy unique emotions as they tackle routes within everyone’s reach, from beginners to expert alpinists. Here, steel ropes, connectors and ladders make it possible for them to explore the area’s gorges and waterfalls and admire breathtakingly beautiful views of the lake.
