Their unique position amidst olive-trees make the numerous crags to be found here the ideal place to practice both climbing and free-climbing. Every year their all-famous climbing walls welcome internationally renowned competitions — such as Rockmaster — and will host 2011 Annual Free-climbing.

Trekking / Nordic walking
A broad net of routes — featuring more than 100 km different-level paths — runs by lake sides and mountain peaks, offering a wide range of hiking chances to Nordic Walking fans and to trekking addicts. In the wintertime numerous paths for snowshoe-hiking are available within a few minutes walk from Arco town centre.
